All About Babies!

I have a few baby cards to share that I am quite proud of! There are several themes of cards that I seem to struggle making; baby cards are one and masculine cards are another, so needless to say I was very excited with how these baby cards turned out!

"Welcome Little One" is the first card and was made using Unity Stamp Company's line of Ippity stamps, paper by Pink Paislee, Prismacolor colored pencils and a silver mesh flower from Prima. All in all a very whimsical, shabby card that I really love!
My second "Welcome Little One" baby card still embraces the whimsical using stamps from Paper Source and Creative Imaginations, paper from Basic Grey's Olivia line, Prismacolor colored pencils, clouds cut out of chipboard and decorated with Basic Grey paper, and topped off with tulle ribbon.

Enjoy the Ride

My next card for The Cat's Pajamas Customer Blog Hop

features stamps from the Joyride set which is so incredibly cute and fits perfectly with my scooter stamp addiction (of course I would love to own the real thing, but until that day I will just covet any scooter stamp I can find!). Scooter Bunny (I'm sure he has a real name, that's just what I call him) has been colored with copic markers, prismacolor colored pencils, stickles and glossy accents on his headlight. All of the paper used is from Cosmo Cricket and the clouds were cut out of scrap paper (sorry, I cannot remember whose it is!).

Hot Stuff!

So if you are a fan of The Cat's Pajamas stamps as I am, you know that they are currently having a Customer Blog Hop thru August 24th.

Now I must admit that I was a bit intimidated to post after I saw the meow-rific caliber of cards already posted, but as they saying goes "nothing ventured, nothing gained", right? So without further adieu, here is one of the cards that I have made using stamps from the Fun in the Sun set, cork, chipboard clouds covered in Heidi Swapp polka dot paper, and design paper from Fancy Pants and October Afternoon.

Planes, Scooters & VWs

How's about some transportation-themed cards to kick-off summer? I'm not sure what my fascination with scooters is...I think I secretly really want one...a shiny red one...with a cute helmet...and a little pug puppy to be my backseat driver!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Feel Better

Yes, another umbrella image! This adorable get well card features stamps from My Umbrella from My Favorite Things. I am racking my brain to remember what company's paper I used for this card....I think it might be SEI....obviously keeping track of supplies used for each card is something I need to work on! I paper-pieced her umbrella and colored the rest of the image (including my self-drawn/colored grass) with a combination of crayola markers, copic markers and prisma colored pencils.

A Sad Day.....

My heart is very heavy today as I say good-bye to my little angel, Tessa, after being my quirky, unique, loving, sassy, stubborn, goofy sidekick for the past 19 years. I miss you already but I know that you are playing in the sunny, green, flower-filled fields of heaven with your new kitty & puppy friends.

Have a Magical Day

Today's creation involves an adorable stamp from My Favorite Things and a little bit of recycling in honor of Earth Day (a few days early!). "Fairy Girl" was colored with a mixture of copic markers, crayola markers & prisma colored pencils; add a splash of stickles & glossy accents and voila!...a magical card (okay, so I'm a bit biased). The paper used is from Kaiser Kraft, My Mind's Eye and black cardstock from Bazzill. My green recycling is in the form of the corrugated strip on the front of the card and the corrugated punched flowers on the front & inside of the card courtesy of......a coffee sleeve from Caribou Coffee!

Enjoy and have a magical day!

April Showers

There are certain stamp images that I am really drawn to lately; one is images with umbrellas and the other is images with scooters. One of my favorite images lately is this one from Denami Design called "Mimi in the Rain", and when paired with a sentiment, raindrops & an umbrella from "Rainy Day Friends" from My Favorite Things not to mention fabulous paper from My Mind's Eye this is the rainy day creation that followed.

Enjoy & have a wonderful day!
